About

Our client is in search of a senior-level sales leader proficient in CATI research sales for one of the largest domestic market research data collection firms in the United States. Our client has made significant investments in its staff, IT infrastructure, and facilities over its 16-year existence. By utilizing thier Voxco CATI platform, the company conducts all CATI work within a brand-new 42,000 sq. ft. facility containing well over 500 CATI interviewing stations on-site. Our clients comprise a 'who’s who' in social science research, consisting of large research organizations, non-profits, universities, Federal and State Agencies. Additionally, they provide services to corporate, financial, and entertainment entities.

Job Description

Specifically, they seek a seasoned sales veteran specializing in Business to Business (B2B) survey projects, Social Science Research studies, or other large scale CATI survey research opportunities. This leadership role is a new position at their firm, and an opportunity to join a growing company and work hand-in-hand with their executive leadership team.

  • Part of a lean Executive Leadership Team

  • Proven ability to self-manage towards defined goals and objectives

  • Subject matter knowledge level to complete the sales process independently, while leveraging their resources

  • Identify areas of business opportunity and growth

  • Present, promote and pitch products/services to prospective clients, including participating in and leading meetings with prospective clients

  • Business Development, Sales Strategy, and Execution, in coordination with the CEO and COO. Research and develop new business opportunities through outbound pitches and in-person events

  • Coordinate pre and post-sales efforts with team members and other departments (i.e. client services and tech)

  • Contribute to the short-term strategies and business plans for the growth of the business unit

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

  • Maintain and foster client relationships

  • Travel to their Las Vegas offices as needed

  • Can work in a company culture based on results and mutual respect

  • Provide feedback on competitive activities in their industry

Preferred Experience

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in account management and sales

  • Demonstrated ability to sell business propositions, effectively communicate, present, and influence clients

  • Expert knowledge of research techniques and methodologies

  • Strong listening, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Self-motivated with excellent multitasking abilities, capable of working independently
